What you'll do
As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will support the delivery of customer-focused product ranges to meet sales, profit, margin, and stock targets. You will analyze trading performance, identify opportunities and issues, and manage category and SKU forecasts to optimize sales, stock, margin, and availability. Collaborating with the A&R replenishment assistant, you'll plan allocations and launch builds to meet stock and availability goals. Your analytical skills and proficiency in merchandising systems will enable you to develop financial plans and drive efficiency. You will also handle order management, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with legal and sustainability standards. Your proactive approach will help build stakeholder relationships and contribute to team success.
Who you are
You are a driven and passionate professional thriving in a fast-paced retail environment. With experience in an Assistant Merchandiser or related role, or a relevant graduate background, you understand allocation and stock management. Your strong analytical and numerical skills, especially in Excel, will help you review performance, forecast sales and margins, and optimize stock. You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing stock delivery, order processes, and data integrity. Your willingness to learn and build relationships makes you a valuable team member committed to delivering excellent customer-focused products.
