Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented CFO to lead our dynamic finance team. This is a strategic position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will be a skilled financial professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and experience in driving financial performance.
A critical aspect of this role is the ability to leverage data analytics and technology, specifically Power BI and Microsoft Data Warehouse, to provide insightful financial reporting and drive informed business decisions.
Responsibilities - Management
* Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
* Oversee all aspects of the financial accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
* Oversee month-end closing procedures and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Analyse financial data and prepare detailed reports for management, including variance analysis, profitability statements, and cash flow forecasts.
* Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
* Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
* Lead the annual budgeting, FP&A, and forecasting processes.
Responsibilities - Strategic Planning and Analysis
* Leverage Power BI and Azure Cube/MS Data Warehouse to improve the quality and speed of reporting cycles.
* Utilize Power BI and Microsoft Data Warehouse to create insightful financial dashboards and reports.
* Partner with business unit leaders to develop and analyze financial models and budgets.
* Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Support the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies.
* Manage financial risk by analyzing potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities - Systems and Technology
* Lead the optimization of our Microsoft Data Warehouse for financial reporting and analysis.
* Use Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making.
* Utilize and maintain the company's ERP system (Microsoft Business Central 365) for accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
* Stay current on the latest financial technology trends and identify opportunities for system improvement.

* Provide guidance and support to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
* Identify and recommend training opportunities for the financial team to stay current with best practices.
* Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
* Develop and implement performance management processes. Attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a progressive or similar role.
* Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in a fast-paced environment, preferably in e-commerce or healthcare.
* Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS.
* Experience managing all aspects of the financial accounting cycle.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrated leadership potential and team motivation skills.
* Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central 365 or Navision.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, especially Power BI.
* Experience with e-commerce accounting principles and transaction management.
