About the role as a AM2 Assessor: The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, management, and delivery of a professional and commercial AM2 NET Electrical Assessment Centre based within the resources of Guildford College. You will act as the lead of the Centre ensuring targets are being meet within a timely manner, including implementation of an affective operational plan to generate a minimum agreed surplus of income. You will plan and arrange candidate bookings, assess candidate’s portfolios as required, and be associated with the internal Quality Assurance processes. Your responsibilities will also include; Deliver high quality assessment & training in accordance with the requirements of NET Design & Install assessment rigs and assessments bays to fulfil the requirements of the awarding organisation. Mark and record assessment records as required to in line with awarding organisations requirements. This role is full time, permanent based at Guildford college. Annual salary up to £47,467 per annum (with potential for a hard-to-fill supplement, depending on qualifications and experience). What do you need to be a AM2 Assessor at Activate Learning? You will have significant experience in Electrical Engineering with the ability to deliver high quality assessment in accordance with the college and industry requirements. You will hold professional qualifications such as. NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electrical Systems & Equipment or equivalent or City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 certificates, or equivalent Level 3 Inspection and Test combined JIB Gold Card Registration acceptance to NET as an independent end point assessor Assessor award/Certificate (minimum of knowledge) (completion within 12 months of the first assessment) What Activate Learning offer to new Teaching staff?
