Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school based in Folkestone. This is a full-time role, working 5 days per week, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex special educational needs.

The Role: SEN Teacher
* Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASC and complex SEN
* Create a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
* Implement EHCP targets and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
* Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Proven experience working within SEN settings, particularly with ASC and complex needs
* Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, adaptable approach
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
