About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Management Team Leader to join the Campus Support Team. You will take pride in contributing to a safe, well-functioning academic environment, providing a specific range of monitoring, support and control functions to ensure that a cost-effective, compliant and totally customer-centric service is delivered at all times. You will be responsible for the effective management of car parking on campus, maintaining an effective dialogue with the wider campus support team, and positively managing any incidents or conflict involving car park users.

About You
As a Traffic Management Team Leader, you will:
* Have experience of working in a customer-focused environment
* Have the ability to lead and motivate a team, acting as a positive role model
* Demonstrate excellent judgement, initiative, tact and diplomacy in dealing with students, staff and members of the community
Please note that you will be required to work key University events such as Open Days, Applicant visit days, offer holder days and Graduation. You will be provided with advance notice of these, which are revised annually and discussed with your line manager.

Hypothetical breakdown of pro-rata salary:
If appointed to this position at the bottom of the salary band (Grade 3 – point 11) your anticipated gross pay per month would be £1,303. Edge Hill University pay term staff monthly in arrears, in twelve equal instalments.
This example monthly gross pay figure is based on:
* Full Time Full Year equivalent salary of £24,215 ÷ 52 weeks ÷ 36.25 hours (full time equivalent contract hours) = £12.84 per hour.
* £12.84 per hour x 27.5 hours per week x 33.58 weeks (i.e., the 29.6-term time working weeks you work + 3.98 additional pay weeks in lieu of your annual leave and statutory leave) = £11,857 annual actual gross salary before tax, national insurance, and any other deductions.
* £11,857 ÷ 12 months = £988 equal gross pay monthly instalments.
This scenario is based on a start date of 1st September and working a full year. This example salary amount is subject to change depending on candidate start-date within the year, and where in the salary band the candidate is hired.
