Trainee Vehicle Mechanic Location: 232 Frosses Rd, Cloughmills, Ballymena BT44 9PU Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 9:00am 5:30pm Saturdays: 9:00am 1:00pm (some Saturdays off) Salary: Negotiable (based on experience and training level) We are looking for a Trainee Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Family Cars NI. You will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in servicing, repairs, and general vehicle maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with vehicle servicing and maintenance Support technicians with repairs and diagnostics Learn how to prepare vehicles for MOT tests Carry out basic tasks such as oil changes, tyre checks, and brake inspections Keep the workshop clean and organised Follow all health and safety procedures What Were Looking For: Interest in vehicles and mechanics Willingness to learn and take instruction Good work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work as part of a team Basic knowledge of vehicles (preferred but not essential) Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) Why Join Us?
