Overview
The Women's Estate Psychology Service (WEPS) provides forensic work, completing complex risk assessments and delivering therapeutic intervention, consultancy, training, and research. It also enables safety work within women’s prisons and supports women transitioning back into the community. As Establishment Lead Psychologist, you will provide strategic direction, develop services, and provide expert guidance to HMP Bronzefield while leading a team of skilled psychologists.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and drive service development for WEPS.
* Deliver complex risk assessments and therapeutic interventions.
* Lead and mentor a small, highly-skilled team.
* Act as the central point of contact for WEPS at HMP Bronzefield and support the Senior Management Team.
* Contribute to the development and review of policies and strategies across HMPPS, ensuring gender-responsible, evidence-based services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Chartered Psychologist with full membership of the appropriate BPS division (if required).
* Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council, eligible to use a protected title.
* Over two years of registration experience.
* Experience delivering psychological services directly and through a managed team.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English.
