About the Service

The National Autistic Society Randalstown Centre is a purpose‑built autism centre that builds on the success of our established Carryduff site. Created in direct response to priorities identified by autistic people and their families, it will operate a dual service model to support autistic people across the life course. During the day, the Centre will deliver commissioned day services for autistic adults with high support and/or complex needs. In the evenings and at weekends, it will host "Support for Life"; a comprehensive programme of wraparound activities for autistic people and their families, including dedicated sessions for autistic children with high support needs, adult mentoring, youth clubs, skills programmes, and stay‑and‑play opportunities.

About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated Team Leader to help autistic people live the lives they choose. You'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support while guiding and developing a team of support staff. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day and contribute to the strategic development of the service.

What You'll Do

* Lead and oversee high‑quality, person‑centred support, ensuring the safety, dignity and wellbeing of the people we support.
* Mentor, supervise and develop support staff, managing performance, training and day‑to‑day operations within your designated work area.
* Build strong relationships with families, professionals and community organisations to enhance inclusion and ensure support is responsive to individual needs.

What We're Looking For

* Experience supporting autistic people or individuals with disabilities, along with previous supervisory or team-leading experience.
* Strong communication, organisation and decision‑making skills, with the ability to work proactively and adapt to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and best practice in autism support, supported by a relevant Level 3 qualification (Level 4/5 desirable).
