Retail Store Assistant (with Keyholder Responsibility)
£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Hours: Sundays only, 6 hours
Location: Beverley Shop

About us: At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer. We are dedicated professionals with a purpose, but we need to go further and faster. We’re looking for a talented individual who wants to develop their skills to join our trading team as a Retail Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing shop operations on Sundays, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting volunteers.
* Helping the team achieve sales and fundraising targets.
* Reviewing and processing donated goods and stock.
* Generating ideas to increase income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
* Providing excellent customer service to ensure supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
* Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
Candidate requirements:
* Knowledge of excellent customer service.
* Experience working in a lively environment.
* Adaptability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, considering personal commitments.
