Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Product Manager to own the ongoing development and delivery of our AI Engine (AIE) capability on the Decision Platform. AIE is focused on applying AI and machine learning technologies to solve real-world underwriting and claims challenges, including intelligent document processing, workflow automation, and decision support. This is a rapidly evolving area with strong commercial interest across multiple markets. In this role, you will own and drive AI-powered capabilities end‑to‑end — from discovery through to client‑facing beta programmes and GA release. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, ML, Delivery, Design and Commercial teams, while also leading direct client engagement. This role reports into the Lead Product Manager, who owns longer‑term AIE strategy and roadmap development. You will be heavily involved in the day‑to‑day execution of the product lifecycle, ensuring the team remains aligned, requirements are clearly understood, and delivery continues moving forward effectively. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, collaborating across teams, and helping turn complex ideas into scalable product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Own the day‑to‑day product management activities for AI Engine initiatives across underwriting and claims use cases across multiple markets.
* Work closely with Engineering, Data, and Delivery teams during stand‑ups, refinements, sprint ceremonies, and collaborative working sessions to ensure clarity and alignment.
* Manage beta programmes end‑to‑end, including defining scope, coordinating client testers, tracking outcomes, and using learnings to inform GA readiness.
* Conduct customer and partner discovery; participate in customer and stakeholder discussions to help gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with Product Designers and technical teams to define intuitive and scalable user experiences for AI‑driven workflows.
* Write and maintain clear product documentation including PRDs, feature requirements, user stories, and supporting implementation materials.
* Drive the near‑term AIE roadmap — defining priorities in alignment with broader product and commercial objectives, managing the backlog, and communicating delivery direction clearly across product, commercial, and technical teams.
* Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including Sales, Customer Success, and other Product Managers to ensure product developments meet operational and client needs.
* Support post‑launch feedback collection and product iteration to continuously improve usability, performance, and customer value.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
* 3+ years in product management, preferably in a SaaS or API platform context.
* Experience with B2B enterprise software or data platform products; domain knowledge in insurance or health‑tech is a bonus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you can clearly articulate product requirements, collaborate effectively across teams, and keep stakeholders aligned throughout delivery.
* Comfortable working closely with technical teams including engineers and software architects.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to understand trade‑offs, prioritise effectively, and solve problems collaboratively.
* Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
* Experience working on AI, machine learning, automation, or data‑driven products.
