To support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate and timely financial information by preparing and analysing management accounts and financial reports. The Company Accountant will also drive improvements in financial processes and controls, provide analytical support for business decisions, and oversee the Finance Assistant. Key Responsibilities · Preparing weekly and monthly management accounts for multiple profit centres, ready for review by the Finance Manager. · Producing and analysing KPIs to support business decisions. · Analysing financial performance against budgets and forecasts. · Preparing commercial reports for leadership on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. · Working collaboratively with the operations team to prepare detailed costings vs budget. · Responsibility for preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, for review by the Finance Manager. · Analyse financial data and provide insights into trends, variances, and key performance indicators. · Assisting in the preparation of the annual budgets and forecasts. · Providing back-up for the preparation of monthly payroll. · Providing holiday cover for the Finance Manager.
