Job Overview
We are seeking a committed and inspiring English GCSE Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching to 16‑18‑year‑old learners on full‑time study programmes.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess GCSE English lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
* Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences and track and report on learner progress.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and quality assurance activities.
* Work collaboratively within the English team to support learner attendance, retention, and achievement.
* Ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* Strong subject knowledge in English.
* Experience of teaching GCSE within an FE or secondary setting (or the ability to adapt quickly to FE delivery).
* Held or willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
