The Opportunity
A high-growth financial business intelligence company is seeking an exceptional Head of Sales to lead global new business growth at a pivotal stage of expansion.
Providing premium news, data, and insight to senior decision-makers across telecoms, media, and technology, this business works with leading investment banks, private equity firms, and advisors worldwide. This is a senior leadership role with real ownership, executive visibility, and global impact.
The Role
As Head of Sales, you will own global new business revenue, lead and scale a high-performing B2B subscription sales team, and shape international go-to-market strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing new business sales team
Own revenue targets, pipeline performance, forecasting, and conversion
Design and execute global go-to-market strategies
Recruit and develop top‑tier sales talent
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Editorial to drive demand and conversion
Represent the business at senior‑level client meetings and industry events
Embed best‑in‑class sales processes and Salesforce discipline
About You
Proven Head of Sales / Sales Director with 5+ years in sales leadership
Strong background in B2B subscription or SaaS‑style sales
Experience selling into the investment community (IB, PE, advisory)
Track record of building and scaling teams and delivering consistent revenue growth
Experienced in international markets and global sales execution
Data‑driven, hands‑on leader with strong CRM and forecasting capability
Hands‑on, performance‑driven leader who balances strategic thinking with deal‑level execution
Passionate about coaching, continuous improvement, structure, and sales excellence
