We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for body art and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Tattoo Artist, you will be responsible for designing and applying tattoos that reflect the individual styles and preferences of our clients, while ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
This is a self employed vacancy, you do whatever hours you wish
You will have a room in the studio that is shared by another artist and the cost of the room is £150 per week all bills included plus more
Duties
* Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences, providing professional advice on design and placement.
* Create custom tattoo designs that align with client expectations while showcasing artistic skills.
* Apply tattoos using proper techniques and equipment, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including sterilisation of tools and equipment.
* Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and customer inquiries.
* Provide excellent guest services by addressing client concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
* Engage in social media management to promote your work and the studio's offerings, enhancing online presence.
* Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions or makeup application when appropriate.
* Collaborate with other team members to foster a supportive and creative work environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
* Experience in management or leadership roles is advantageous for potential growth within the studio.
* Knowledge of social media management to effectively promote your artistry and engage with followers.
* Familiarity with related beauty services such as deep tissue massage, eyelash extensions, or makeup application is desirable.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with industry regulations.
