Due to staff retirement, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Child Health Administrative team. The post holder will provide comprehensive admin support related to screening and immunisation programmes for children across Tayside. Responsibilities include handling telephone enquiries, data input into the national system, managing and filing records, preparing and collating consent forms, and travelling to schools across Tayside to support the Immunisation Team. The detailed scope and range of duties are outlined in the job description.
The successful applicant will have a pleasant and helpful manner, good communication skills, and work well as part of a team. Essential qualifications include previous experience with national child health systems, electronic patient records, attention to detail, good typing skills, and proficiency with IT packages.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
