We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Nights Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Hours:
6am – 6pm Monday to Thursday
Pay
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
* Perform general site maintenance and clean-up duties to maintain a safe working environment.
* Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, following safety protocols at all times.
* Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance where necessary.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts to meet project deadlines.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Operating a laser cutting sheet metal (experience is advantageous)
* Operating a over head crane (experience is advantageous)
Skills:
* Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks effectively
* Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated
* Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately
* A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on-site
* Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
