Job Title: Administrative & Finance Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (Initial 3-6 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: On-site

About the Company:
A well-established and friendly business operating in the high-performance engineering sector is seeking an experienced Administrative & Finance Coordinator. The company works across motorsport, automotive, and aerospace industries and values precision, innovation, and a collaborative team culture.

The Role:
This is a key position supporting both administrative and financial functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Finance Support
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Liaise with external accountants and payroll providers
- Monitor cash flow and support financial reporting

🔹 Administrative Duties
- Maintain filing systems and coordinate meetings
- Handle mail, deliveries, and travel arrangements
- Support onboarding and office setup for new starters

🔹 HR & Office Support
- Maintain employee records and assist with recruitment coordination
- Help with risk assessments and ensure a safe, tidy office environment
- Liaise with vendors and service providers

What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar admin/finance roleStrong bookkeeping and financial admin skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- A proactive, self-motivated team player

Desirable:
- Knowledge of basic HR processes
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

Contract Details:
Initial contract term: 3-6 months
