Our client is an award-winning boutique firm based in Manchester, who are expanding their specialist Court of Protection team and seeking a dedicated Court of Protection Paralegal to join them. As a Court of Protection Paralegal, you will: Support vulnerable clients who lack capacity due to brain injury, illness, or dementia. Work closely with a team of lawyers to manage clients' property and financial affairs. Act as a first point of contact for clients, their families and carers. Handle day-to-day financial tasks including paying bills, purchasing items like vehicles, and managing budgets. Conduct annual home visits and maintain regular telephone contact with clients. Ensure accurate and timely financial management on behalf of clients. Use electronic case management systems to maintain case files and records. What we are looking for: Prior experience as a Court of Protection paralegal and a strong background in finance, budgeting, and managing household finances. Confidence with telephone communication in a friendly, professional manner. Great organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail. A solid grasp of IT systems.
