Working closely with the Head of Finance you will take control of the full management and cost accounting function. This is a 3 to 6 month contract
Responsibility of the Cost & Management Accountant Role:-
* Full monthly management accounts and commentary in line with Group processes
* Closely monitor budgets and any variances
* WIP and standard costing, liaising with Production Manager
* Analyse large data sets to mitigate the risks and develop more robust procedures
* Review and improve month end processes
* Streamline transactional accounting
* Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and planning ahead
Requirements of the Cost & Management Accountant Role:-
* CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
* Experience gained with a manufacturing group
* Advanced Excel skills
* Standard costing and WIP reporting
* Available at short notice to start w/c 19th January
