Job overview

In collaboration with the Inventory Team Lead, supervise Sunswap stores and goods-in operations, ensuring timely and accurate booking of items. Work closely with both the procurement and operations teams to address discrepancies, short deliveries, and supplier returns. Coordinate with the Inventory Team Lead to maintain the highest level of stock accuracy.

Key responsibilities

* Follow up deliveries, track missing parts and ensure the availability of goods for Sunswap projects.
* Update the material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints).
* Receive and verify the quantity and quality of incoming goods and materials against purchase orders.
* Create kits of parts for production builds.
* Conduct goods-in inspection of parts.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the goods-in area, including the safe handling and storage of materials.
* Conduct daily and weekly stocktakes to ensure the site complies with internal audit requirements.
* Monitor the shelf life of stock and raise concessions as needed.

Qualifications & experience

* Fork Lift License
* Proven experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience using inventory management software/system
* Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail in resolving stock discrepancies and issues.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
