Role: Primavera Planner - Heavy Civils & Rail
Location: 2 days in Leeds | 2 days on-site in Sheffield | 1 day WFH
Rate: £-£ per day (LTD)

We're looking for a Primavera Planner to join our team and support a portfolio of complex infrastructure works across Yorkshire. This is a long-term contract role offering stability, flexibility, and the chance to shape the programme on some of the region's most vital schemes.
The Role:
Working closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining robust project programmes using Primavera P6. Your construction-savvy insight will ensure that plans are not only technically sound, but practical and achievable on site.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and maintaining detailed programmes in Primavera P6
2. Liaising with delivery teams to ensure accurate planning and forecasting
3. Identifying critical paths, milestones, risks, and slippages
4. Integrating subcontractor and supplier schedules into master programmes
5. Producing lookaheads, progress reports, and earned value metrics
6. Supporting project change management and delay analysis where needed
What We're Looking For:
7. Proven experience as a Planner using Primavera P6, ideally in rail and/or heavy civils
8. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site operations
9. Ability to engage confidently with delivery teams, designers, and clients
10. Background in construction or civil engineering is essential
11. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously
12. Familiarity with NEC contracts and earned value reporting is a plus
