Consumer Lending Industrial Placement Scheme (Manchester) The Consumer Lending Industrial Placement Scheme is designed to develop our next generation of product leaders curious thinkers, data explorers and customer-first creators who can turn insight into innovation. Youll learn how products are built, launched and evolved to meet changing customer needs. And youll do it all on real projects that impact millions of people, seeing your ideas move from whiteboard to launch day. One year. Real impact. Youre 12-month Industrial Placement in Consumer Lending is designed to build expertise in Consumer Lending, the centre of excellence for mortgages, loans, cards, car finance and leasing. You could gain experience in: Product & Platform learn how products are diversified, managed and delivered. Work on customer journey design, digital experiences and platform innovation. Strategic Partnerships work with major partners such as Jaguar Land Rover to shape new products, manage relationships and ensure safe, profitable delivery. Product-focused skilled in diversification, management and delivery of lending products. Insight-driven using data to validate strategy and improve journeys. The work you could be doing Researching customer behaviour to improve lending products. Shaping new journeys for mortgages, loans or car finance. Leading cross-team projects to deliver change. Working with external partners to bring new propositions to market. Supporting greener, more sustainable ways to live and borrow. While we do not require a set projected minimum degree achievement, we strongly recommend the ability to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge, understanding and technical skills aligned to the role. Some aspects of this, alongside behaviours and values, will be assessed through the application process. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this programme and you must have full, unlimited right to work in the UK. Knowledge of at least one modern programming language or framework. A genuine passion for technology and the drive to keep learning. Locations Choose from Manchester, Cardiff or Chester. With our hybrid working policy, all colleagues spend at least two days a week in the office.
