As the Front Desk Receptionist you will…
* Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
* Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit cards
* Coordinate with other departments.
* Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
* Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
* Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
A successful Receptionist is someone who:
* Has Hospitality work experience
* Knows PMS system, preferably Room Master
* Has strong communication & interpersonal skills
* Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures
* Has excellent level of spoken and written English
* Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
* Able to work independently and within a team
* Flexible approach to working hours including evenings, weekends & Bank holidays
* Can work hours per week
* Shift patterns: or Monday to Sunday availability)
* Can reasonably commute to / from work.
