The Recruitment and Retention Manager is responsible for overseeing the full talent acquisition lifecycle while developing strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention. This role ensures that TGI Fridays can attract top talent aligned with our business needs whilst fostering a positive workplace culture to reduce turnover. This role will ensure full alignment of recruitment and retention efforts with organisational strategy, promoting diversity, inclusion, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies, including sourcing, job postings, screening, interviewing, and job offer process.
* Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create accurate job descriptions, and identify relevant compensation package.
* Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, utilising various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals) to build diverse talent pipelines.
* Collaborate with L&D function to successfully deliver onboarding programs and enable the smooth integration of new hires and positive early experiences.
* Design and implement employee retention initiatives, such as engagement surveys, exit interviews and recognition programs.
* Strategically analyse turnover data, conduct exit interviews, and identify root causes of attrition to recommend targeted improvements.
* Monitor key metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, retention rates, employee satisfaction scores) and report on recruitment and retention outcomes to leadership team.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver successful employer branding through social media, career fairs, and internal communication channels to attract and retain talent.
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law, diversity initiatives, and best practices in recruitment and employee relations.
* Manage recruitment budgets, supplier relationships and retention program resources
* Responsible for the development and delivery of an Applicant Tracking System and representation on company website / internal materials.
* Support global recruitment within owned territories

Qualifications And Requirements

* Degree level education preferred.
* Extensive experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement and employee retention.
* Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting and developing successful retention strategies.
* Expertise with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and data analytics tools.

Essential Skills

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics for informed decision-making.
* Project management skills to handle multiple priorities, timelines, and initiatives.
* Excellent knowledge of employment laws, DEI principles, and current trends in talent acquisition.
* Excellent proficiency in managing recruitment platforms and digital tools for sourcing and engagement.
* Professional qualification preferrable (CIPD Grad)
