We're exclusively partnering with a fast-growing re-commerce business to find a Lead Frontend Engineer at a genuinely exciting moment in their journey. This isn't a \"maintain the status quo\" hire - they need someone to define and own their entire digital engineering direction.

The role:
This is a unique role where you'll own the digital customer experience end-to-end - evaluating their current frontend setup, defining the technology roadmap, and leading the build of modern, high-performance experiences. You'll sit at the intersection of frontend engineering, growth, and marketing technology, working closely with Product, Marketing, and Data teams.
Day to day you'll be:
* Architecting and delivering frontend solutions in React, Next.js, Vue, or similar
* Running A/B tests and conversion optimisation experiments
* Owning analytics and tag management (GA4, GTM, Segment, or similar)
* Driving technical SEO and web performance improvements
* Mentoring and developing the wider engineering team
You'll need:
* 7+ years in frontend or full-stack development, 2+ years at senior/lead level
* Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and modern framework expertise
* Hands-on analytics, tracking, and experimentation experience
* The ability to operate across technical and commercial stakeholders with ease
* Bonus points for Webflow, headless CMS, or a growth engineering background.
The Package:
* Salary £80,000 - £90,000
* Leeds Office - Remote with infrequent visits
