Safehaven Talent is proud to be advertising this rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand-new, purpose-built children’s residential home for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the home through Ofsted registration and establishing all operational systems and frameworks.
* Recruiting, training, and inspiring a full staff team, including a Deputy Manager and support staff.
* Designing and implementing bespoke care plans that prioritise the well-being and aspirations of each child.
* Creating a warm, safe, and therapeutic home environment aligned with Ofsted Quality Standards.
* Ensuring robust safeguarding practices and fostering strong partnerships with families, social workers, and professionals.
* Driving continuous improvement and achieving excellence through reflective leadership and a strong team culture.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience: Minimum 1 year as an Ofsted Registered Manager in a children’s home setting.
* Qualifications:
o Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (or equivalent).
o NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent).
* Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of The Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015).
