Customer Service Representative / Storeperson
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Hastings Rural Supplies team as a Customer Service Representative/Store person on a fixed-term role during our peak season. If you are a hard-working all-rounder that can start immediately then do not hesitate to get in contact today.

This role is fixed-term, starting immediately and working through to February 2026, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and may be required to work rostered Saturday mornings.
About the role:
Based in-store, you will unload deliveries, operate the forklift, assist with stock management and provide knowledgeable sales advice and service to a range of rural clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Undertake Forklift, Ute and trailer driving and delivery duties.
* Order, unpack and display merchandise according to company guidelines
* Provide sound advice to a variety of customers based on their needs
* Pro-actively solve queries and problems from customers, suppliers and other staff
* Process sales and product requests with efficiency
Skills & Experience:
* Good physical fitness as regular heavy lifting is required
* A full, current and clean New Zealand drivers licence with F endorsement and Dangerous goods endorsement
* Current Forklift licence is a must
* Proven computer and administration skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* New Zealand agricultural sector knowledge and experience is preferred
* Previous retail and/or sales experience is an advantage
