As a Production Operator you will be responsible for the Departments Production Output to the MRP Schedules. Work to instruction given by Line Managers, Production Coordinator and Management to meet the requirements set out in the Company Values and Mission Statement.
You will report to the Team Leader and be located at Springfields.
Key Responsibilities:
• Able to refer to Quality Procedures
• Experience of machining and Fabrication and/or metal parts manufacture
• Able to read drawings and refer to work instruction
• Familiar with NCR processes
• Understand MRP requirements
• Familiar with tooling, jigs and acceptance fixtures
• Confident to use Micrometres, Verniers and digital equipment
• Competent in using equipment in relation to your working area
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience with CNC machining is essential.
2. Be able to perform any general duties or tasks required by Management
3. Ensure a safe working environment is maintained (H & S)
4. Ensure productivity is maintained to the required standard
5. Ensure and Maintain discipline within your area
6. Control your Time Management to ensure delivery of the products are met
7. Promote good team morale in your area
8. Implementation of policies, procedures and working documents as required
9. Assist in training of employees as required
10. Support the Management Team
11. Update daily tick lists and charts within the required time limit
12. Assist other employees with quality situations as and when necessary
13. Highlight Quality problems to the and Team Leader or Production Coordinator
