We are seeking a Canine Hydrotherapist with excellent communication skills and ability
to work independently. This position is ideal for a hydrotherapist with at least one year of
experience working with underwater treadmill; however, if you are proactive, eager to
learn, and have a strong sense of initiative, we welcome applications from candidates
with less experience.
You will be joining a team that values collaboration, respect, and a shared passion for
animal care. Working closely with the Veterinary Surgeons, you will help ensure
outstanding patient care and develop comprehensive treatment plans for dogs
recovering from surgery or injury.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct underwater-treadmill hydrotherapy sessions for dogs, tailoring
each session to meet their individual needs and conditions.
* Monitor and assess the progress of canine patients, adjusting treatment
plans as necessary. Collaborate with the clinical team to design
comprehensive rehabilitation programmes.
* Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records.
* Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger dogs.
* Provide an exceptional, personalised experience for both clients and their
pets.
* Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
