Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Recycling Picker Operative to work with our client based in Paddock Wood area.
In this role you will be working as a Recycling Picking Operative sorting through commercial recycled waste so a willingness to work within a refuse environment with the need to be flexible is key.
Monday to Friday 07:00-17:00
Currently pay is £12.21 per hour (1 hour is deducted for breaks daily)
Duties:
1. To remove waste products from the designated waste collection areas when required - Must be aware of large machinery
2. To manually transfer waste materials
3. Recycle any product identified as recyclable on the picking line
4. Working outside in yard although covered has open sides.- Please dress sensibly for the weather conditions
5. Good attention for own H&S and others - Due to closeness of moving machinery & busy environment
6. Manual Handling
7. To ensure that all instances of client query or dissatisfaction are escalated to your management Team
8. Work as part of the team or work self-supervised during your day.
9. Due to location own transport is essential
10. Must wear Hi Vis & safety boots
