An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join a respected and growing professional services firm in Aberdeen. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse range of clients and to play a key part in developing a high-performing tax team.
The Opportunity
This position provides the ideal blend of tax advisory and compliance work. The successful candidate will support clients on matters such as mergers and acquisitions, group restructuring, business expansion, and general corporate tax planning. You will work with a varied client base that includes international groups, private companies, and fast-growing local businesses.
As a senior member of the team, you'll take ownership of client relationships, ensuring outstanding service delivery while helping to grow the practice and develop the next generation of talent within the team.
Responsibilities
* Delivering a wide range of corporate tax services to a portfolio of clients.
* Managing complex assignments and providing clear, commercial tax advice.
* Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
* Leading, developing, and mentoring junior colleagues.
* Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities to add value.
* Ensuring compliance with professional standards and quality procedures.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
* Significant experience in corporate tax, ideally gained within a professional services or in-house environment.
* Strong technical knowledge alongside excellent communication and client relationship skills.
* Proven experience managing and delivering complex tax projects.
* A proactive, collaborative, and commercially minded approach.
* A professional qualification such as ACA, CA, ATT, CTA, or equivalent.
