Salary: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

The Education Network is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support schools across Halifax. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who enjoys supporting teaching and learning, leading small groups, and delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
About the Role
As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You may be required to deliver pre-planned lessons, provide targeted intervention support, and work closely with teachers to raise attainment and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering lessons and activities to whole classes or small groups
* Supporting teachers in the planning and assessment of pupils' progress
* Providing targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive learning attitudes
* Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
About You
We are looking for candidates who:
* Hold a HLTA qualification or have equivalent experience
* Have recent experience working in a primary or secondary school setting
* Are confident leading groups or covering classes when required
* Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Are reliable, flexible, and passionate about supporting young learners
