We are seeking a volunteer to assist with our garden maintenance.

The days for this opportunity are flexible; specific days will be arranged upon enquiry and are adaptable to weather conditions. Basic gardening and DIY skills are required.

* Applicants must be willing to undergo an induction process, including relevant background checks and an enhanced DBS check (which will be free of charge).
* After applying online, one of our Volunteer Officers will contact you to arrange your DBS check.

As a Gardening Assistant volunteer, you will be encouraged to:

* Participate in general maintenance and basic garden DIY with the group.
* Support, encourage, and empower service users to achieve their specific goals.
* Spend time chatting with residents to help combat loneliness.
* Log volunteering hours monthly and submit expenses online where applicable.
