Modality PartnershipHull Division has a part-time/full-time vacancy (22.5-37.5 hours per week) fora Clinical Pharmacist. The postholder will be a high performing Pharmacist and willbe responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients in a clinicalsetting, ensuring safe and effective medication use working at Alexandra HealthCare Centre and across Hull Division. Main duties of the job

The role is an all-rounded,hands-on Clinical Pharmacist role; the postholder will need to confidently evidenceand utilise key skills such as effective communication, ability to work as partof a multi-disciplinary team in a patient facing role to clinically assess andtreat patients using their expert knowledge of medicines for specific diseaseareas. The postholder will work in collaboration with local divisions (includingDivisional Boards) and the National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovativeways of working to meet the strategic aims of the organisation.

The role is nota regular 9am-5pm job and is not a pure pharmacist patient facing role; the jobrequires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will berequired to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks arecompleted.

Knowledge

* Strong Math and Science Skills.

Experience

* Relevant experience in a healthcare setting as a Pharmacist Relevant experience as a Pharmacist Prescriber Preferably experience in a general practice setting.


Qualifications

* Qualified pharmacist PgCert Pharmacist Independent Prescribing Qualification or equivalent.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* High-level customer service knowledge.
* Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
* Diplomacy, discretion and the ability to manage sensitive situations effectively.
