Overview
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an experienced manager of mental health urgent and emergency care services to join our mental health urgent and emergency care teams as Service Manager. The post involves working across a wide range of mental health urgent care services providing senior operational management and leadership, and collaborating with system partners (acute Trust, Police, Ambulance, 3rd sector). The postholder will be skilled in forming and maintaining effective working relations across the local system and beyond. The role suits an innovative and creative thinker who can identify opportunities for service development, efficiency and improvement, involving service users and other stakeholders at each step. Mental health urgent care continues to be an area of growth with opportunities to influence the shape and quality of the service offer. The work is dynamic, stimulating and rewarding. Responsibilities
* Operational Management and leadership of all Mental Health urgent care services.
* Liaison and proactive development/improvement work with partner agencies.
* Oversight of key governance and operational tasks (quality, safety, HR/workforce, finance, data, performance, estate, EPRR).
* Service development and quality improvement; change management; service user involvement and co-production.
* Line management of Managers and teams.
* Collaborative working with other managers, key departmental leads and clinical/professional leads within the Trust and externally.
Qualifications and Experience
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant management and/or leadership field or comparable and demonstrable experience.
