Job Title: Customer Care Coordinator

Location: Bishops Stortford (with flexible home working arrangement)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

About the Company:

We are working with a leading bespoke housing developer known for creating high-quality, individually designed homes across the region. With a strong focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, they are now looking for an experienced Customer Care Coordinator to join their growing team based in Bishops Stortford.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that values both its customers and its employees, offering a supportive office environment with the added benefit of a flexible work-from-home agreement.

The Role:

As a Customer Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for homeowners once they have moved into their new home. Your role is to manage customer queries, coordinate defect resolution, and ensure that all aftercare issues are handled quickly, professionally, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage incoming customer care calls and emails, ensuring prompt and courteous responses

*

Log and track defects, snags, and service requests using the company’s CRM system

*

Liaise with site teams, contractors, and suppliers to arrange and coordinate remedial works

*

Monitor progress of works and keep customers updated on timeframes and resolutions

*

Ensure all works are completed within agreed service level timescales

*

Provide administrative support to the wider Customer Care and Technical teams as needed

*

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and follow-ups

*

Build positive relationships with homeowners, ensuring their aftercare experience reflects the company’s high standards

What We're Looking For:

*

Previous experience in a Customer Care or After Sales role within the housing or construction sector is highly desirable

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

*

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience using CRM systems

*

A proactive and customer-focused attitude

*

Ability to work full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm), with the benefit of a flexible WFH agreement
