Summary of role purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our Department of Professional Practice – Audit (DPP Audit) capability at Senior Manager level. We are a dynamic team of passionate and highly skilled professionals, working hard to support our audit teams in the field to get things right first time. You will work closely with the Director in the team as well as colleagues across the Audit Practice and the firm. You will be accountable for supervising the work of colleagues (potentially at both junior and senior level). You will also have performance management responsibilities for a small number of employees.

You will lead the operational process and delivery elements, working closely with your immediate team and a range of stakeholders and partners across the firm, to plan, draft, deliver and measure the learning experience for multiple internal audiences. The outcome of your work will support the rebrand of the way auditors learn at KPMG and embed a culture of "learning for a lifetime".
Description of the role:
* Ensuring a seamless transition from current processes and procedures to new ways of deployment and associated tasks.
* Develop and execute change plans as necessary, ensuring continuity of service to the business in a transparent and seamless fashion.
* Lead on the implementation of processes which are required, to support process improvement.
* Ensure all internal learning controls, processes and policies support requests for internal and external learning management information, which meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including ISQM1, QC1000 and FRC reporting.
* Consider the links available between the Future of Audit Learning project and Spark, Space to Learn, the Learning Management System and CPD requirements in order to ensure alignment and leverage any synergies available.
* Manage and coach team of Manager and Assistant Manager
* Work cross-pillar to ensure alignment and to consider all possibilities.
* Use business relationships to find innovative solutions using technology to make processes efficient, reliable and collaborative.
* Working closely with the Learning Enablement team and Design to ensure best practice for deployment and monitoring are met.
* Working closely with KPMG's Learning Services team to deploy learning in line with specific SLAs.
* Ensuring the transformation supports CPD requirements through reporting and monitoring of Learning completed.
Due to the nature of the position, you may be working at/visiting other KPMG offices.
The person:
Experience and knowledge requirements:
* Operational deployment, enablement and technology led experience of at least 5 years at Manager level (E)
* Proven transformational project experience at Senior Manager level (D)
* Project management experience essential, with change management skills (E)
* Recent experience of managing large projects involving transformation and technology and being the first point of contact for key stakeholders (E)
* IT literate with sound knowledge and experience of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). (E)
* Practical experience of human resources development, organisational design, diversity and accessibility, as well as similar organisational behavioural/cultural skills. (E)
* Experience of working within Audit, or business partnering with Audit (Strongly D)
* Strong understanding of business risk management, particularly in the context of learning and development operations and governance frameworks (e.g., ISQM1, QC E)
* Understanding of LMS systems and best practice around deployment and monitoring (E)
* Strong stakeholder management (E)
