Overview

Join to apply for the Production Engineer role at Energizer Holdings

Energizer Holdings responsibly creates products that make lives easier and more enjoyable. With iconic brands and a strong commitment to sustainability, we’re looking for a Production Engineer who thrives on problem-solving, improving processes, and — most importantly — turning technical knowledge into clear, effective training materials.

This is a unique opportunity to bring your machine-building or manufacturing background into a role where your ability to document, train, and improve is just as valuable as your engineering expertise.

What You’ll Do

* Develop and improve manufacturing equipment and processes to boost safety, quality, and efficiency.
* Commission new equipment, ensuring it meets productivity and compliance requirements.
* Translate complex engineering processes into clear technical documents, manuals, and training guides for operators and technicians.
* Support compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and other safety standards.
* Work closely with skilled technicians — and roll up your sleeves when hands-on support is needed.
* Provide training, coaching, and technical clarity to colleagues at all levels.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

What We’re Looking For

* Mechanical or electrical engineering background (multi-skilled ideal).
* HNC (or higher) qualified, or apprentice-trained / graduate engineer.
* Experience in machine building, electro-pneumatic or PLC-controlled systems.
* Background in high-volume manufacturing (precision tolerances ~0.1mm).
* Strong technical writing skills — able to create, update, and simplify training and compliance documents.
* Knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC is a plus.
* Team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Work with a global, well-known brand.
* Be part of a culture that values sustainability, innovation, and teamwork.
* Grow your career with opportunities to learn, lead, and make an impact.
