As partof our wider Leadership Support Service, youll play a vital role in helping our Assistant Directors make the most of their timeenabling them to focus on what matters most for North East Lincolnshire. Youll be empowered to work closely with senior leaders, providing confidential and comprehensive administrative support that keeps everything running smoothly. What will your day look like? Proactively managing diaries and emails, ensuring our Assistant Directors time is used effectively. Acting as the first point of contacthandling sensitive correspondence and calls with professionalism and discretion. Organising meetings, preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes, and following up on actions. Supporting a wide range of stakeholders, including elected members, with tact and diplomacy. Managing finance tasks, compliance checks, and arranging travel or events as needed. Using your initiative to flag deadlines, monitor tasks, and ensure nothing is missed. Adapting to new challenges and working practices as our organisation evolves. Who are we looking for? Were seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference behind the scenes. Youll have: Experience supporting senior managers, ideally in a large or public sector organisation. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Confidence in using Microsoft Office and business support systems. The ability to analyse information, solve problems, and provide clear advice. A methodical, detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage a busy workload. Discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential matters. A commitment to your own professional development.
