Overview
CBHC Recovery Coaches are a vital part of the supportive workforce within CBHC, facilitating a coordinated continuum of care. As a Recovery Coach, you will play an integral role in developing treatment plans and creating in-home supports for adults, primarily addressing addiction. You will ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, realistic, attainable, and promote recovery.
Responsibilities
1. Provide side-by-side interventions focusing on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement.
2. Participate in daily team huddles and meetings.
3. Complete NOMS assessments and other evaluations as assigned.
4. Provide third-party billable Recovery Coaching services when appropriate within CBHC services.
5. Assist in ongoing assessment of symptoms and responses to interventions.
6. Contribute to developing individualized treatment plans, including triage and urgent care, ensuring cultural competence and recovery focus.
7. Participate in stabilization and triage supports in the community, emphasizing in-home supports during behavioral health emergencies, primarily addressing addiction.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of paid or volunteer experience working with adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse.
2. Alternatively, six months of experience with a college degree in human services.
3. Must be receiving or have received mental health/substance use services and have self-knowledge to manage their illness through an established recovery process.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Rates
* Non-certified: $19.23/hour
* Certified: $23.08/hour
Additional Information
* Various schedules available.
* Bilingual candidates preferred and eligible for a 6% differential if fluent.
