Lecturer – Painting and Decorating at NCG (Entry Level, Contract, Education and Training).
What you'll do
 * Plan and deliver inclusive, high‑quality lessons.
 * Create engaging learning materials tailored to diverse learner needs.
 * Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner progress.
 * Guide academic and personal development through tutorials and pastoral care.
 * Maintain accurate records of learner progress and engagement.
 * Keep course content current and aligned with industry standards.
 * Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
 * Work with colleagues and external partners to enrich the learner experience.
 * Promote and uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.
Qualifications and experience
 * A relevant subject qualification at Level 3 and above.
 * A recognised teaching qualification.
 * Level 2 English and Maths (e.g., GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
 * The ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
 * Knowledge of subject‑specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education.
 * Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
 * Confidence using digital tools to support learning.
 * A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development.
Subject specific requirements
Inspire learners across health and safety in construction, principles of building, preparing surfaces and applying paint and paperhanging. Prepare students for employment or self‑employment in residential and commercial buildings. Enable students to achieve qualifications at Level 1 and 2, enter competitions, and contribute to charity projects.
