Job Introduction
Working at Nottingham College means contributing to thousands of learners' success. This role focuses on delivering Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical provision, including technical training, practical skills development and apprenticeship support.
Responsibilities
Develop apprentices’ and learners’ competence across electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, fault diagnosis, electrical principles and safe working practices. Work closely with lecturers, assessors, employers and curriculum leaders to ensure learners achieve the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for progression within the electrotechnical sector.
Support delivery of City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation / Electrotechnical qualifications, including apprenticeship routes aligned to the Installation and Maintenance Electrician standard. Strengthen practical skills delivery, workplace readiness and progression to skilled employment.
What you’ll bring
An experienced electrical professional with strong practical and technical training skills. Ability to demonstrate hands‑on techniques, break down complex concepts and support learners towards skilled employment. Excellent communication, commitment to health and safety, and a desire to develop others. A teaching or assessing qualification would be an added advantage.
