The Role As an Assembly Operative, you will work on our production line, preparing our products for dispatch to customers. Using a variety of hand and power tools, youll focus on packing items while also completing light assembly tasks. Your goal will be to make sure all products reach the customer in excellent condition and within the required deadline. Your duties will involve: - Following works orders and spec sheets to get each job right - Checking youve got the right parts before starting - Flagging any missing or incorrect parts to your supervisor - Using labelling machines to make the right labels - Packing customer box kits so everythings in one place Please note, this role will involve manual activities. About You To be considered as an Assembly Operative, you will need: - Experience of working on a production line within a manufacturing organisation - General knowledge of manufacturing and production procedures - The ability to follow instructions and diagrams and read technical drawings - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - At a minimum, five GCSEs or equivalent Other organisations may call this role Production Operative, Packing Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Worker, Production Line Operative, or Manufacturing Worker.
