Senior Engineer - Heat Exchangers (Design Engineer and Senior Design roles available)

We are Rolls-Royce SMR, revolutionising an industry with a once-in-a-career opportunity. This role within the Plant Equipment team involves developing integrated technical solutions, managing programmes, and overseeing Heat Exchanger designs on a global scale.
The successful candidate will lead product development, manage costs and schedules, and collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to ensure project success.
Key Outcomes:
* Ensure technical maturity of Heat Exchanger products.
* Lead and supervise a team.
* Develop and implement strategies and delivery models.
* Meet business milestones and deliverables.
* Maintain governance and quality standards.
* Travel as needed between sites.
Candidate Criteria:
* Experience with design, manufacture, operation, and maintenance of Heat Exchangers.
* Knowledge of product lifecycle stages and relevant industry codes (e.g., ASME, TEMA, EN13445).
* Ability to lead, check work, and coach junior engineers.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.
* Experience managing complex programmes and risk mitigation.
* Proven leadership of small engineering teams.
* Excellent communication skills across various levels and functions.
* Relevant technical degree or HND, with active pursuit of professional recognition.
