Role Overview
As the Head of Sales, you will take a strategic yet hands‑on approach to leading the sales environment, people, and processes to maximise profitability while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in shaping performance culture, driving compliance, and ensuring an outstanding customer journey across every interaction.

Key Responsibilities
As Head of Sales, your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the sales process to maximise gross profit opportunities
* Overseeing the sales environment and ensuring full compliance with the agreed sales process
* Engaging with prospective and existing customers to build long‑term relationships
* Leading the sales team to ensure all F&I and insurance products are fully presented to every customer
* Ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations
* Running daily sales meetings to drive focus, performance, and accountability
* Continuously improving customer experience and service standards
* Ensuring full compliance with manufacturer mystery shop standards
* Managing vehicle ordering, stock control (new and used), and conducting monthly performance reviews with Sales Executives
* Carrying out used vehicle appraisals where required
* Handling customer dissatisfaction professionally and resolving complaints promptly
* Ensuring full and effective use of the Dealerweb system

About You
The successful candidate for this Head of Sales position will ideally have:
Strong background in sales management within the automotive sector
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards
