My client is looking for a Legal Counsel to join a dynamic and collaborative legal team, supporting a major business transformation programme and providing legal guidance across key group functions.
🔍 About the Role
As Legal Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in advising on complex legal matters related to a high-impact transformation initiative. You’ll work closely with senior legal and business stakeholders to drive projects from planning through to execution, ensuring legal risks are managed and business goals are achieved.
💼 Key Responsibilities
* Advise on legal aspects of strategic transformation projects, including commercial contracts, employment, environmental, and product liability matters.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal and business objectives.
* Manage external counsel relationships and review legal advice.
* Support group functions such as finance, tax, treasury, and shared services on a range of legal issues.
* Ensure timely communication and escalation of key legal matters to senior stakeholders.
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE, ideally with a background in corporate law or in-house legal roles.
* Strong experience in commercial contracts, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Experience in the industrial sector and additional language skills are a plus.
