Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator / General Operative to join our busy fabrication workshop. The ideal candidate will have a background in general labour within a workshop environment and be confident operating a range of machinery and tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate machinery including band saws and plasma burners
* Safely use air tools and overhead cranes
* Assist with general fabrication tasks and manual handling
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Support other team members as required
Requirements
* Previous experience in a workshop or fabrication environment
* Confident operating overhead cranes and cutting machinery
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Desirable
* Forklift license or additional relevant certifications
