Your Challenge
We have a new role for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee the operations in Leicester, this is a fantastic career opportunity for an individual with solid experience in operations management. You will work closely with the Operations Director and Managing Director to rapidly resolve issues, driving efficiency, from sale through to build and shipping. The successful candidate will also be required to ensure good interaction with the wider SWARCO business, promoting an exemplary example of SWARCO values.
Some of what you will do
1. Ensure that Customer satisfaction is always maintained – internal and external
2. Be the primary point of contact and lead for the Leicester office
3. Be responsible for ensuring strong communication, togetherness and proactive development of the Cardiff team
4. Ensure commercial contracts and arrangements are reviewed and positively risk assessed, in line with company requirements and dealt with in accordance with company process
5. Ensure that all works are only conducted once there is an agreed form of written contract in place between the company and the customer
6. Ensure that all works, and operations meet company, statutory and contractual requirements
7. Control projects and contracts to ensure the best interests of the company are maintained
8. Identify opportunities for growth and communicate these internally

Your Profile
What we are looking for
Essential
9. Equivalent to GCSE Level in English and Mathematics.
10. Solid experience of running a busy installation & maintenance business.
11. An appropriate level of experience of financial management. Ensuring timely delivery of high-profile contracts to a local authority client in a busy work environment.
12. Proven ability to balance conflicting requirements to produce practical and effective solutions.
13. Must be prepared to make balanced decisions based on fact not thought.
14. Works well under pressure.
15. Excellent prioritisation skills.
16. Previous management experience.
17. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
18. Competent in report formatting and writing.
19. Must be IT literate with competency in Microsoft Office software.
20. Has verbal skills including tact, diplomacy, and persuasion.
21. Full driving licence.
Desirable
22. Equivalent to GCSE in Information Technology.
23. Previous experience within the Traffic Control environment.
24. Sound knowledge of the statutory obligations placed on maintenance and installation service providers.
25. Ability to motivate, coach and/or mentor others to facilitate development of their own skills.
26. Ability to identify clear succession potential in his/her team.
27. Sector 8 accredited.
