The Role
You will lead high-impact technical waste consultancy projects supporting nuclear decommissioning and strategy, shaping the UK’s nuclear future. Your responsibilities include leading waste projects, guiding technical teams, and working with customers to deliver safe, high-quality solutions.
* Provide specialist advice and lead technical delivery in nuclear waste management and decommissioning projects.
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
* Support strategic bids and business growth.
* Supervise and develop technical staff, including line management.
* Ensure outputs meet environmental, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements.
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).
Essential Experience
* Extensive nuclear waste management experience in strategy, delivery, and technical leadership.
* Experience managing technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
* Experience in decommissioning, disposability, or waste strategy projects.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in engineering or science.
Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.
