Job Title: House Keeper
Reports to: Registered Manager
Job Summary:
* To provide a high standard of cleanliness within the service and ensure compliance with infection control procedures
Core Duties and Responsibilities
* Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
* Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to
* Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. Report any defect to the Registered Manager.
* To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents
* To comply with COSHH regulations and Health & Safety regulations
* To adhere to infection control policies at all times
* To follow the correct use of colour code systems within the service
* Ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily
* Ensure cleaning equipment is stored correctly
* Ensure storage cupboards are left clean and tidy
